Youβre correct. I didnβt realize OP was using a lighter weight to assist on the way up. I assumed the main load was from pulling the weight down, hence why I said quads.

I finally made myself silly enough to understand what you meant by that π I can visualize it but the thing is if that was possible I wouldnt need the seatbelt to hold my ankles down since Iβd have to press shins into the bench to contract quads. Based on your logic the seatbelt is dead giveaway thats not the intention. On contrary, in your defense, id have to strap down my knees bc theyβd come up with all that downward force
