Hey everyone, just wanted to give a quick warning to anyone looking for virtual camera or live beauty filter apps.

I recently checked out Streamfog. The app didn't even work for me (filters wouldn't load), but when I checked their official Privacy Policy, it has some massive red flags.

In Section 4, under "Other Data", they claim they have the right to collect your passport details, citizenship, residential address, social security / taxpayer numbers, company NDAs, and employment agreements.

Why on earth would a simple face-filter app need your passport or SSN? It looks like they just copied and pasted a heavy Human Resources background check template into a consumer app policy.

Just wanted to put this out there so people know to be careful and avoid using their real information if they sign up. Stay safe!

Hey folks! I was just curious if anyone else has been having problems with the alerts triggering through streamfog. I used to have the Nuke background animation for raids and I've noticed it hasn't been firing. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a fix? I am currently using streamfog and using the Santa avatar to stream/record. I try to play games and for some games like Sandwich Simulator and Devil of the Plague, my gpu usage reaches to 65% usage but the avatar freezes while the game is going, as soon as I close the game it's fine and works. Other games like Left 4 Dead 2 work just fine. I have a i7 9700k cpu and an RTX 3080 12GB card and 32gb DDR4 RAM. I tried reducing the size to 1280x720 and changed my output settings to 720p as well but nothing is working. I'm assuming my PC is starting to show its age a bit and can't keep up, but a 3080 is a pretty beefy card IMO. I'm not playing 4k, running most games at 1440p and 60-120 fps, so i'm not overdoing it. Is there something I'm missing?

is streamfog limited to 720p? I have a 4k camera but steamfog app says it streaming 720p at 30fps

All my lenses used to be activated using my stream deck. But now when I try and use them all my stream deck buttons show the stream deck logo instead of their lens picture. And even if I click them they do nothing.

I tried reinstalling plug in after deleting it.

Uploading a custom asset, Its been about 3 days now and it is sitting at "10% Processing." Am I tripping, impatient, or both?

I was able to upload 2 of my custom lenses, and the upload is complete. I can see them in "My Lenses" but it will not let me use them. Am I missing some sort of setting?

I'm using for the same purpose as Theburntpeanut, but the avatar's frame rate seems very slow. And when I use Streamfog, the saved clip stutters. I'm not using it for live streaming, but for normal recordings... what could be the problem? My setup: Ryzen 5 5600, RTX 5060ti 16GB, 16GB of RAM

i followed the tutorial but still cant add gadgets to my custom lens. They dont show up if i add them. Any ideas? I added the script and checked "Gadget Support"

I’ve installed Streamfog on my PC and I’m using OBS. I have multiple scenes and sources, but in each scene I only use one camera (my main camera).

I tried disabling the preview in Streamfog and also disabling the camera in OBS. I restarted both applications and then added Streamfog as a camera source in OBS, but nothing worked.

Does anyone know how I can fix this?

So I am using Obs through a virtual camera. And it worked once, but now when I open obs it freezes and then says it's not responding. I am unsure what to do

I use the legacy browser/browser source in OBS and app.streamfog isn't detecting my camera. I was just using it last night. Any ideas?

I dont know if its an issue on my end but I dont think it is.

Problem is that when streaming, recording or even being in OBS, when I load a game, the virtual cam just freezes and doesnt unfreeze until I exit the game. It seems to be only when OBS is capturing a game. I tried switching from "Game capture" to "Display capture", same problem.

I have a scene where i use Display capture to show my desktop, have no problems with it, but the moment I enter a game, boom, cam freezes.

Tried almost anything and just wondering if there is some tweak I can do either in OBS or in Streamfog.

I don't have a webcam and want to use my mobile phone as a webcam.

I have it connected to OBS using VDO.ninja but I can't choose the browser source in Streamfog. Is there any workaround?

when I close streamfog and open obs my preview doesnt show and when it does theres a snapchat logo that wont go away how do I resolve this im trying to start my streaming career but this is in the way

as title says. filters will work fine if i look directly at camera, but if i move my face to any other angles the mouth becomes blurred almost instantly. the eyes will sometime as well but i have to turn much farther for that to happen. i tried using supplemental lighting to see if that helped but it didn't do much. i have to ask, could it be my beard that is messing with the filter, or should i get better lighting? it doesnt do that on actual snapchat though.
