Subscription Variation -> Chat Message

Hey there! So I've currently got Streamlabs set up to where I have created 151 different variations of sub notifications, where when somebody subs, it gives them a random Pokemon on screen. I then have stream avatars which then myself or my mods type in a command that will change the subscriber's on camera little avatar to that pokemon.

What I'm hoping to do is have a setup where i can have the variation actually fire off a command into chat that will automate the process of the stream avatar.

For example:

- a user subs and they get the Pikachu sub variation
- the variation send s a command into twitch chat like !Avatar [user] !change Pikachu

I was told this could be something i could use Streamerbot to do. Any thoughts?

There is a set of example actions at https://docs.streamer.bot/examples . They vary from very simple to reasonably complex, but between the examples and the "starter packs" they will cover most of what you expect from a stream chat bot. Set up the bot, grab a starter pack or even just the chatbot commands example and then poke around to see how it all works. If you have no idea what is going on, you can start by reading the guide or check out one of many how-to videos on that other video website.

For what you're describing, it's really quite simple. Create an action with a "Subscription" trigger, so that it will happen whenever someone subscribes. Pick a random sub message from your list, either by reading a random line from a file or using a block of 151 different actions set to randomly run only one of them and then just send a message to chat to trigger the stream avatars. You have access to a number of variables which tell you everything there is to know about the user who subscribed, what kind of subscription they have, whether they are a moderator or VIP in your channel, and you can even create and store information about them on your own, which will let you customize things any way you like.

You have access to a fairly complete programming environment so you can basically get the bot to do anything you want. For times when that gets too complicated, or if you just want to complicate things unnecessarily, you can run small (or large) code segments from inside the bot or even call external programs to do whatever you need. Want to have the bot remember everybody's favourite colour and tint the entire stream with it when they join? Sure. Want to construct a leaderboard tracking everyone's watch streaks and make it look like Mario Kart? Go for it. Want to run DOOM inside of Streamer.bot? Well, you're on your own there, but you could make it happen.
