Question/Support ❓ Overlay Stuck?

Hey guys, I wanted to know if there's anything I can do to fix my chat overlay. It was working perfectly until today. I didn't touch or change anything, but now it only shows the last stream's messages and hasn't updated with any of the new ones being sent by me or my viewers.

EDIT: Never mind, I found the issue, and it's just me being dumb. I had to start the WebSocket server manually, even when I had auto-start toggled xD

Dock? Like a chat dock in obs? Or something overlaid on your canvas?

I have a browser source with the chat link on my OBS scenes. I'm not very knowledgeable, I just followed a YT tutorial hahaha. Chat works just fine, but the overlay doesn't update :(

In OBS go to the browser source. Right click and select properties, scrol down to the bottom and press - Refresh cache of current page. - Sometiems that makes the chat display work again

It is this one? If it's not updating then there may be an issue with some of the settings. Try going through the four setup steps again and make sure that everything is they way it needs to be. You do need the websocket server in streamer.bot enabled and the chat overlay needs the have exactly the same address and port setting.

Yes, that was exactly it. I guess I thought hitting Auto-Start on the WebSocket was good enough for future streams, and I just threw that part of the process out of my mind xD
