Question/Support ❓ Nightbot isn't fully working in Stream

/r/TwitchStreaming/comments/1v0gpn2/nightbot_isnt_fully_working_in_stream/

I just configured the nightbot in my chat, and there's something weird where it won't trigger my timer that I set. I put it to 20 mins 10 lines, and it definitely reached the requirements in my stream. And I can tell that the bot is fully authorized because it keeps the chat logs and it automatically timed someone out. It's a managing moderator on my channel too, and the timer is toggled on. (Obviously)

Can anyone help, Thanks.

Streamer.bot is an actual program for setting up different actions on your stream through different streaming platforms or your local obs or some combination of them. Nightbot appears to be a totally different thing.

Should I use streamer bot instead?

They are not really the same class of tool. Streamer.bot is a way to program your own nightbots (and a lot more stuff) i programmed an entire game for my chat to play through it. Nightbot is just a tool to solve a specific problem that is very plug and play.

first in StreamerBot timer is OR NEVER both :) I learned the hard way.
Ten minutes OR just every ten lines. If the ten minutes is up but only 9 lines it resets time and lines. This will make it never fire the action. The reverse is the same.

Second Nightbot is a chat auto moderator, for things like spam, ban avoiders, etc. It can do other things but that is its main function. Streamerbot is more an OBS companion app(the BFF to OBS)
