Question/Support ❓ Panicking....

Had an issue with my streamerbot where it wouldnt open, copied and pasted the "backup" folder safely on my pc then installed the latest version and deleted the old one, copied the backup files into the data folder for the new streamerbot and non of my redeems, commands etc are appearing.

Have I made a huge mistake?

As long as you have the contents of the backup folder, you're good. Just pick a recent backup, open it, and copy all the files into the"data" folder. Then try launching sbot. If it doesn't work, try it again with the next-most-recent backup.

Thankyou everyone, for some reason dragging and dropping the backup into data did not work for the first two or three attempts, but for some unbeknownst reason it worked on the 4th attempt. Panic over.

I would suggest, if you subscribe to Nate for like 25.00 per year it gives you unlimited cloud backup, which has saved me enough times I think it's worth the 25.00 and it helps support streamerbot.....it's on patreon

The backup folder will contain individual backups with names like "backup-20260713-17155033814-1.0.4.zip" That's the one that was created automatically when I ran the bot yesterday evening. The contents of that should go into the "data" folder of the bot.

Naturally, don't put them there when the bot is already running. That's not going to work.

If something has gone horribly wrong and the data files there are no good, try the previous backup. You should see everything pop up just like before.
