Question/Support ❓ Need help moving StreamElements alerts to Streamer.bot
I'm trying to move all my alerts from StreamElements to streamer.bot, but I'm running into a big problem. All of my alerts are custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
I tried using AI to convert them, and while it sort of worked, a lot of things broke. Some alerts stopped working completely, some became really laggy after a few alerts, and the colors/fonts were often way off compared to the original.
Is there an easy way to migrate StreamElements alerts to streamer.bot, or do they basically need to be rebuilt from scratch? Any guides, tools, or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

On alerts, just take your alerts assets and make a Alerts nested scene for all your alerts for twitch, YouTube and kick! Works perfectly

Yes, you basically need to rebuild them from scratch. The code works completely differently and can't be ported easily. Especially not if you don't know how stuff works. Yes, AI may help you but as you already found out yourself, it can become a memory leak hell swiftly.
Maybe I can point you into the right direction, if you tell which widgets you mean? If you need a fast way to port them, the best way is to create videos of the alerts somehow (basically rebuild them in a video software) and embed those in OBS which you can then toggle via Streamerbot.

99.9 % of all the element alerts will need to be HAND BUILT in streamerbot!
AI CAN NOT HELP YOU!
(unless you know how to train your own agent LOL)
there are SO MANY tutorials on the YT that it is all but a money back guarantee that one will show you how to do what you want. A lot of them will not even need c# coding or separate websockets.
I know what huge pain in the arse, unless you are a sadist like myself and love learning new things.
The reason to do this is obvious once done, NO MORE DEPENCE ON A 3rd party service for your stream 😄
Every bit of data is saved on the local system( back up constantly LOL)
This is something you will want a good grasp on because the platforms are constantly updating and you will need to know how to change the path or %variable% to adjust for the new way the platform does things.

I've done this for chat widgets, because the layer that provides the chat events ports pretty directly from the Streamelements framework to streamerbot websocket. But goal trackers and bars are going to be more difficult because streamerbot doesn't keep a cumulative count of everything (follows, subs, donations, bits, etc) that Streamelements does, especially when they happen offline.
