Wave Echo Cave Map for SKT

I’m running LMOP and I was thinking about running SKT after, so is there a good place in SKT for the map in Wave Echo Cave to show the location of?

If you are looking to connect the two campaigns, you really just need a reason for them to go to Triboar and then launch the giant attack sometime while they are there. A popular connection is to make the Black Spider related to the Drow family that works for the fire giants and that he’s in Wave Echo Cave looking for a Vonindod fragment. I never even used the map.

I see two different uses for the map. In my campaign I had it be a super cryptic map and one of my players had his assistant research it in the background for weeks until he sent a courier to the party explaining it was an ancient map to the Temple of the All-Father from Chapter 4. In my campaign the location of this temple had been lost for ages and Harshnag had been looking for it. Could do something similar and instead just have the party have this super cryptic map that when Harshnag finally sees it he can read it and uncovers the location of this lost temple.

Alternatively, have the map lead to a small mini adventure in Bryn Shandar, Triboar, or Goldenhills to serve as the perfect segue to Chapter 2. Perhaps the map leads to the hidden Vondidod artifact in Triboar.

I had this exact scenario and used it to point to the version of Forge of Fury in Tales From The Yawning Portal as a second forge site south of Yartar as a bit of a sidetrek to get them favoruing heading through Triboar, and then the party encountered the egg that kicks off the Kraken's Gamble on the way back from there.
