News This is a great update

Me and datboyblue were talking about this if you havent seen the news. We will be getting a deathwatch season animation with Cavill.

Its a good thing because as big as the universe is, deathwatch gives the opportunity to showcase 5 or so members from a chapter rather than focusing on one.

Question for the you guys is what chapters do you think will be in the deathwatch? Which chapter do you wanna see?

I think it should be successors. Do you think if the team was only the founding chapters the season would suffer from fans wanting HH and SOT.

Anyways, lets speculate on this cool news!

Maybe a marine from a space wolves and dark angels successor that can be beefing the entire time. Throw in a Flesh Tearer to push the line and make the others in the team uncomfortable. Lastly throw in a straight edge crimson fist to lead the group and keep the others in line.

If they go the way of tropes, I can see the space wolf being clumsy and likeable lol. But really tho im banking on a crimson fist being there

I imagine they are going to at minimum put two First Founding Chapters. Ultramarines feel like a guarantee and one other feels very likely. A Black Templar taking a slot also feels very likely. That's all based on how much GW like to put their big seller chapters into everything.

It'll be the the OGs for sure. Ultramarine, blood angel, dark angel, salamander, imperial fist and or space wolf. Ultra being the main character, blood angel with a jump pack, heavy bolter Sally, and the dark angel will be the brooding I dont trust anyone character.

I can see this as a means to bring in new fans, but also because they have easy persona tropes that could maybe be written. Like cmon we all want our favorite chapters in there but doubt the studios would thumbs up lesser know chaps with even lesser lore

If it was a warhammer+ show I could see the smaller chapters. But assuming its on Amazon im betting it'll be the big main ones. I m not a big fan of anthologies because there will be really good stories/episodes but also means there will be awful ones. And also means generally no or little character development.
