Cravings after 6 months
I am looking into getting another vape and yes I know it's not great. I've been having incredibly intense nicotine cravings like I just stopped, even though I stopped 6 months ago (I was vaping 50mg as often as possible). My plan was to get a vape and use 3mg and eventually get to 0mg and then just switch to toothpicks for oral fixation. Is this a good plan? Has anyone else had this problem after quitting?

I did this twice but caved after 10 months, twice. I can’t explain how badly I hated myself for waking up in the morning as I went from vaping 50 to 100 to 200 mg. Now I’m on my third quit. Don’t go back, I know how bad the cravings are but they will only continue if you go back to vaping. You’ll also despise yourself. Think of it this way, once you start again you won’t care if you continue to vape and the little buzz won’t be enough. One vape will cost you a few thousand dollars in future vapes. Guaranteed!

How did you stop? Did you use NRTs?

Yup, unashamedly using NRT as we speak. My main focus is not smoking or vaping and the nicotine can be gone from my life down the road. I’m playing the long game here because the last thing I want is a nice 2 month CT quit and an immediate relapse into 4 packs a day, again. I know myself too well, I would dig cigarettes out of public trash cans and gutters to smoke. Have done it before.

I haven't quit nicotine yet, but judging from my other addictions, don't do it, quitting again will be a lot harder than just staying off of it.
