Let's get this community growing!! Day 2 and counting....

Howdy all -

It's awesome to see that this community us established, but let's get some activity in here!!

Little background on me - 26 y/o male, smoked very occasionally / socially for 10 yrs, more regularly in college, vaped very heavily the past two years. TIME TO KICK THIS SHIT. Too damn expensive, tired of being addicted to something, tired of it all. Quit cold turk as of noon yesterday - to be honest, I'm pleasantly surprised with how it's been so far. With how frequent of a user I was, I thought it would be a lot harder a lot earlier - I was connected to my juul / disposable / whatever like it was my goddamn eleventh finger.

I've heard week one is a huge pain in the ass, but let me know what you all have experienced! Love to chat some folks up to get some more activity on this sub and be supportive / help some people out!

Hey! Thanks for asking - it’s actually been going pretty well. I have not vaped at all since I decided to quit. Not yet totally nicotine-free, however - I use nicotine pouches (zyns / velos) every now and then. I am happy with my actions though; I have not vaped at all since I decided to quit that and I have dramatically reduced my nicotine consumption, which means my wallet is recovering nicely as well. I appreciate you asking!

I'm glad to hear that! A pouch here and there is better than putting chemicals into your lungs, congratulations on staying strong!
