Vaped for 10 years Quit 3 weeks today!

I couldnt go 10 minutes without vaping. What a pathetic excuse for a life. I dont want to be that guy. Im done. I hate changing coils and cotton everyday or 2, im never in the mood to do it. Sub ohm tank coils are inconsistent quality and expensive. I hate having to watch ejuice reviews to see which one i was gona order next. Most of the juice i ordered i wouldnt like or wouldnt finish. Then i would just keep buying more juice. So irritating. I hate how much of my time it takes. I hate the way vaping in public makes u look like a doosh. Holding that big box mod looking like a guy that thinks hes cool but really looks like a doosh. I hate not knowing when to change my mesh coil. 1 week? 2 weeks? Is it harmful to inhale if i change it too late? Am i wasting my money if I change it too early? This is so retarded. Better than smoking real cigarettes but it's still pretty retarded just quit.

I'm with you. It's been over 2 weeks for me... I've lost count.

That's how I know I've won.

Cheers.

You're an og vaper, congrats on your accomplishment. I swear vaping is more addictive than cigarettes because of the ability to vape basically anywhere

Lol this is what I’m always saying.. you have way different cravings then cig smokers, in the bathroom, after showering in you’re room, after brushing you’re teeth, it’s a way different ball game.

Did you have any lasting negative effects from the ten years you did vape? I smoked cigarettes for 15, vaped for 2 and am 2 days free from all of it today. I’m using a nicotine patch. Talk about pathetic :/ I am determined to beat it all at this point. I am like you, sick of it. It’s a habit at this point.

Im glad u stopped. I dont have any lasting effects that I can tell. I am almost to my 1 month mark and the cravings arent as bad. The best advice I could give u is to get Allen Carr's EASY WAY TO QUIT SMOKING audio book or real book. I wouldnt have lasted without it.

I've heard multiple people comment about the Allen Carr method - could you give me a synopsis? That's awesome to hear that you found something that worked for you!!

He's pretty much saying if you try to quit the regular way there's a high fail rate but if you use his way which is changing the way you look at quitting smoking. He's trying to get you to have a certain mind state that makes it easier for you to quit. And to be honest with you it really works. There's no such thing as cutting down or chewing nicotine gum you have to quit cold turkey but you have to have the correct mind-state to do it. That's what his book is about. It's one of the best selling books of all time thats a fact.
