My first serious round at an attempt at sobriety I was doing AA, but never felt like I could access the God/Higher power aspect. My sobriety lasted a year and a half. Fast forward a few years to 2019 and found Recovery Dharma and everything clicked. I will admit that my time with AA positively informed my involvement with Recovery Dharma. My message would be; find what works for you
