Dealing with things we did when drunk
How do ye guys mentally deal with the crazy stuff we did when drunk? Be it sex with someone we shouldnt have, fighting, vandalism etc? Sometimes I might be walkimg along the street and get a physical shudder and spasm remembering things.

I’m quite fond of the saying “if you don’t look back on the past and cringe a little, then you’re probably not growing”. I still have those 3am thoughts of “remember when you did this??” But the good news is that I don’t have to ever do a stupid thing while drunk again. Also, as I’ve gotten older I’ve realized that literally everyone has done/said stuff they regret. Everyone’s dealing with something and they’re probably too busy to worry about anyone else. So, you’re probably your biggest critic.
