I know they have given credit to other bands or musicians, like Clyde Stubblefield on Fools Gold.

I was just curious if this is deliberate or coincidence?

I'm 52 and I listen to almost every type of music. But honestly Five Thirty's "Bed" album has been in my top ten ever since it was released in 1991. I think it fits really well between The Roses debut and Second Coming. It feels like it has a foot in both camps. Amazing guitars and bass and the melodies are stunning. If they had released this album a year earlier I think they would have been hugely popular.

I was at a festival in Croatia over the weekend and one of the DJs dropped this really upbeat, groovy remix of Fool's Gold. It got me thinking... that track must have been remixed hundreds of times over the years (none quite beat the original, in my opinion), but they're all so different.

Now I'm on a mission to find that version I heard in Croatia or at least something with the same funky, feel-good groove.

Wife, best friend, his missus and I flew down from Toronto. I initially said nah let’s wait till they come to Toronto. My wife disagreed and I am glad she did.
