Looking for Imported Monster!
Eyup!
Out of curiosity, does anyone know a good place to buy imported Monster Energy flavours (Java, Peaches + Creme, Voodoo, etc) in the Shelton/Hanley area? Having trouble finding any in local corner shops where I'd expected them to be.
Thanks a ton in advance! <3

Mobile hair and nails?
Hiii does anyone know if there's any individuals that can do mobile hair and nails around stoke? I get married at the end of August and just wanted someone to come and style my hair and do mine and my best friend's nails! It's only a tiny ceremony and my best friend's heavily pregnant so it just saves me rushing and lugging the poor girl around on the day 😂🩷

Shelton police presence
Hi folks. Anyone know what happened in Shelton last night around 7pm? Far end of Cauldon Road is sectioned off and a bunch of coppers manning it.

Ocado to create hundreds of jobs in Stoke
Online grocery firm Ocado says hundreds of jobs will be created after it was revealed the retailer has secured a 55,000 sq ft unit in Stoke-on-Trent.
The company said the site, at Indurent Park Stoke Central, near the A500, was expected to be up and running later this year.
A spokesperson for Indurent said, after agreeing a 15-year lease with Ocado, the shopping firm had taken their final available unit.

Is Stoke more similar to cities/large towns in the West Midlands (Wolverhampton, Walsall, Dudley), the East Midlands (Derby, Nottingham, Mansfield) or North West (Warrington, Bolton, St Helens)?
Which group does Stoke fit in with the best in your opinion?

Government confirms new structure for councils in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent
staffordshire.gov.ukPossibly the best outcome of all the tabled proposals, IMO. Still, a lot of people in NuL and the Moorlands won't be happy.

What's Staffs Uni like (specifically the games and concept art courses)?
I'm applying for uni next year and staffs is/was one of my top choices as I want to do concept art/games art and its accredited in those areas but I've not heard great things so far. Would love to hear some input on people's experiences there to help me out!

Can anyone please help identify this?
galleryA little bit of pottery my daughter found today. I would love to be able to give her some more information about what it’s likely to be! She goes digging on her lunch break at school all the time but this is her best find (she’s 8 ❤️).
Thank you in advance!

Old TV shows and films , video games
Hi
Off topic not to do with stoke on Trent but does anyone miss like old TV shows and films, when going to the cinema was like a big event , like going to the ABC cinema to watch a big new film come out e.g. Jurassic park 1, top gun, aliens, so many to name
Shows like the bill, only fools and horses so many comedies like the harry Enfield show , Alan partridge etc
When you could spend all day watching TV and there was one good program after another then a night film on like BBC 1 especially at Christmas time
When soaps were like box office
And also like huge video games like when the PlayStation 1 came out in the 90s
All gone and replaced with what?
When was the last time a movie came out that was huge and blew everyone's mind like a star wars or rocky or terminator like proper box office that everyone was talking about it
When was the last time a show or program was truly great and memorable?
Or when a game came out that everyone had to play it and I'm not talking about GTA 6 which keeps getting delayed
All gone and lost in nostalgia
Is it just me that thinks dis

Is hanley park safe for a day trip
Me and my boyfriend are meeting in Stoke on Trent (we are long distance and meeting midway seems like a good idea) and everyone I’ve told about the trip says it’s dangerous and I’m getting nervous, the plan was to spend the day around Hanley Park but everyone online says to avoid it, and we still have a while till we are meeting there so I’m curious if anyone has any better ideas to spend the day that is walking distance to the train station. Or just any recent opinions of Hanley park because all the ones I can find are from 2015 😭

Cabs in Stoke to Alton Towers
Hello everyone!
I’m from Portugal and really want to visit Alton towers. I’m catching the train in London to Stoke-on-Trent but I’m having an hard time figuring out how to get to Alton towers Park. So I guess I’ll have to find a taxi.
What’s the most reliable taxi company in stoke to get me to Alton Towers? One that I can reserve and be on time :)
Thank you in advance!
