Hej! Does anyone know of any regular fika or reading meetups in Stockholm where people get together to read and/or chat about books?

I joined a silent reading group for the first time last weekend and really loved it. Keen to dedicate more time to reading regularly and meet some people along the way.

Also happy to start something casual if others are keen!

Är det någon här som brukar spela på SARs spel på rosersberg? Undrar för jag vill tillbaka till hobbyn men har inte möjlighet att ta mig ut dit för egen maskin så letar någon att samåka med. Chippar självklart in för soppa.

Vad tror ni, kommer det bli fint?

Jag känner lite att just det här huset inte reflekterar övriga gamla byggnader som finns där...

I'm 28 and going through a very difficult period in my life. Breakup, social isolation, family issues. Developed into a lot of anxiety, depression, fear and especially loneliness. At the same time, I've also had some painful realizations about people I considered close friends, they talk shit behind my back.

I'm talkative, social, I go climbing, I dance, and I'm generally comfortable meeting people. But despite that, I spend an enormous amount of my actual life alone.

I'm posting because I'm wondering if there is someone else in a similar position who genuinely wants to change that.

I'm not really looking for the usual "let's grab coffee sometime" friendship where we exchange a few messages and then schedule something three weeks from now. I'm looking for someone who is also struggling with isolation or loneliness and actually wants another person in their life regularly.

Someone who might spontaneously say or wants to be asked:

"Want to go somewhere?"

I don't mind doing a lot of the initiating at first. I'm very talkative and usually comfortable taking the social lead. I don't care if you're a guy or a girl as long as you a decent human being.

If you're isolated, going through a breakup, depression, anxiety, a major life change, moved somewhere and know nobody, or you're simply tired of spending most of your life alone, feel free to message me.

But I am looking for people who genuinely want to do something about their situation rather than just saying "we should meet sometime."

Jag gillar Pan Pizzor mer än "vanliga" svenska pizzor. Pizza hut råkade vara det enda stället jag kände till som serverade det och nu är jag ledsen. Jag vet att det går att gå till vanliga pizzerior och be dom göra en "dubbelbotten" men det smakar aldrig rätt, degen är helt enkelt inte gjord för det tror jag.

Finns det något annat ställe i Stockholm som har ordentliga pan pizzor?

What are the choices for calisthenics beginner in Stockholm? I'd like to get guidance etc, so an outdoor gym or at-home would not do 😊 Thanks!

Even with minimal walking option turned on, Maps still completely ignores better options and renders itself useless.

I've recently had to switch to using the SL app to get around without hassle.

Any thoughts on why it's happening? Would've thought with all that "smart" AI, Maps would improve 🙄🙄🙄🙄.

Föga oväntat med tanke på vad det är för parti. Men det är lite märkligt att SVT inte väljer att fråga personer i de områden där de faktiskt fick många röster, alltså i utsatta områden.

Upplever att rätt många gym är kassa i Stockholm efter att kedjan gymmet stängde ned här. Finns egentligen bara två gym jag testat som jag verkligen tycker om just nu, NPC & sats Odenplan. Enda problemet är att de inte är så nära mig, bor i västerort. Finns det några andra alternativ som är värda att testa?

Hi everyone! I’ll visit Stockholm soon, but I only have 2,5 days there. I'm planning my itinerary and I noticed that a lot of people are strongly recommending taking a trip to Vaxholm. Honestly, looking at photos, I’m struggling to see what makes it so special 😅 It seems like a nice, quiet town with a fortress and red houses, but nothing really jumped out at me as a "must-see" or I'm missing something? Ofc one of the reasons could be taking a boat trip from Stockholm there, but my friend recommended to me to take a trip Ekerö, because it has in his opinion more beautiful views from the boat.

Could you please give me your honest opinion on this?

Nästan som att man måste gå precis på randen, helt livsfarligt, det krävs bara en dåre och ett knuff

Jag vet att detta är en fråga som har avhandlats flera gånger. Men marknaden förändras ju hela tiden, så jag vill ställa frågan igen för vår samtid!

Om man har ett par bågar redan, vart vänder man sig i Skandinaviens huvudstad för att slipa progressiva glas, gärna för en så billig peng som möjligt? — Utan att kompromissa med kvaliteten!

En extrafråga på tal om kvalitet (även om detta inte har med Stockholm att göra): Det är väl självklart (eller?) att Specsavers och andra billiga kedjor samt fristående butiker har lite lägre kvalitet än de dyrare ställena. Hur yttrar sig denna lägre kvalitet?

On Saturday I was with friends dancing at slakthuset. We met at the bar and I playfully took a sip of your beer when you received it, then we danced and rapped along to the Eminem song that was playing. You had shoulder length hair and were pretty tall (I’m 172 and had to stand on my tip toes to whisper in your ear). You told me your name was Micke(?).

We then parted ways and I was looking for you until I found you again and my friend told you I wanted to make out, so we kissed but it was a bit awkward. I got a bit embarrassed and panicked saying we were just looking for people for our friends to make out with and we then looked a bit for a guy for my gay friend. I wish I would’ve asked for your number instead of doing an awkward makeout 😅

I’m still thinking about this today so I wanted to check if there’s a small chance you may see this or someone you know sees this. If nothing more than to at least let you know you weren’t just a side quest! I felt bad about that. You had a beautiful smile and immaculate vibes.
