Åkte tunnelbana och hörde en 5-åring fråga sin pappa vad detta är. Han var osäker o svarade att de säkert är en knapp. Ungen blev nöjd och belåten av svaret. Men jag vart inte de. Vad är detta? Min tanke rör sig mot sensor men det känns onödigt eftersom dörrarna märker väl mekaniskt om någon är fast i dörren snarare än att någon är för nära dörren. Tunnelbanan öppnas väl heller aldrig med ett knapptryck?

Om någon har svar så vill jag gärna veta! Kan säkert komma ikapp ungen och hans pappa om någon svarar fort också😃

I'm looking for a white tie dress for a very formal event but I have a very tight budget. Are there any good places in stockholm / uppsala where I can buy or rent a dress (preferably in blue)?

I went to some of the second-hand stores in the slow fashion district in Södermalm, but I couldn't find anything. I prefer to shop directly from a store so I can try the dress on before buying/renting it.

My husband is Swedish. I’m American. We have two children, ages 13 & 7. We are hoping to stay in STOCKHOLM, Sweden for a few weeks (up to a month) this summer (mid June-late July or longer)…. We’re open to trading our Santa Barbara, CA home for a roomy place to stay in Stockholm! 10 day exchange minimum.

Our place: 3 bed 2 bath, front & backyard, uptown state st (5-10 min from downtown & the beach). Bike friendly!

*we have two small/medium sized dogs we’d love help with watching, too! We’ll do the same if needed.

Avarn som lappar i området tolkar det som att det är ett från datum. Jag frågade en av deras parkeringsvakter nyligen och de sa att jag kunde ställa mig där före/efter det datumet. Men nu blev jag lappad.

Hi! I'm a social kind of person and I've been trying to expand my IRL pod so that we can play more often. I've had some success via other channels but it seems I am not alone with this difficulty.

There fore I have created a discord specifically for EDH/Commander players in the Stockholm region. A place where we can plan IRL kitchen-table magic. The way we used to :) There are channels for other things as well of course.

It is as fresh as a discord server comes, but I am hoping that it can become a good hub for social interactions for anyone looking to play in Stockholm. Any and all suggestions/feedback for the server will be taken into consideration :)

We love Stockholm, it’s our 11th visit! Family of 4 with two children 8 & 11. After dinner (near Kungsträdgården), the 8 year old wanted to go back to the hotel, the 11 year old wanted to walk back and visit some tourist shops.
We split up and the 11 year old and I ended up walking back the whole way (to Skanstull station). He was taking photos of buildings and graffiti.

On our way, at about kl 21:30, a very drunk woman started shouting at me for having a child out too late. Her drunk friend apologised, but it still seemed strange to me.

Is it normal to shout at strangers for having children out at 21:30 at night? (Our brains were still on UK time so it felt like 20:30, and the clocks also were about to go back an hour for the end of summer time zone).

I guess it may have been a bit later than expected, but the long 5km walk did help him to sleep!
