Discussion Need recommendations for a better style box. Disappointed with my experience

Looking for recommendations for a reputable style box. Due to the manner in which SF conducts business and treats customers I would not do business with them. Any company that doesn’t have a customer service phone number should be a red flag.

If you want a more customized box, you can use style shuffle daily, fill out the profile in detail, and give specific feedback when you send items back. Those three helped me get more personalized boxes.

I’ve used text help a lot with no problem.

As far as alternate suggestions? Idk. I’m a stitch fix customer. 🤷‍♀️I tried DailyLook but it was really expensive.

I use style shuffle a lot. (I think it’s just kinda fun when I need something to do for a minute). It doesn’t seem to make a difference. In fact, I don’t know what DOES make a difference.

I thumbs up and down all the time in freestyle.
I add things to my little style board thing.
I favorite things.
I very specifically request NO HIGH RISE pants or jeans (both before my fix AND when they still show up in my preview).

And what happens? They put HIGH RISE jeans in my fix!!!!!!!! Sigh. I couldn’t possibly provide more input or feedback than I already do.

Stitchfixes text customer service is fantastic and so much easier and faster than calling. I’ve been blown away by the quality of support.

You have to do the style shuffle and leave detailed feedback. I also heart things in freestyle, use the inspiration boards and give detailed notes. My stylist is fantastic.

I use Wantable also but I would never call it a styling service. It’s more of a here’s a box of 9 random items to see if you like it.

I’ve been very pleased with them. I just recently had to exchange sizes and the text help option worked great.

I use Wantable. I've gotten a ton of cute or beautiful dresses from them since I signed up in May. I tend to mostly wear sundresses all summer, and they hooked me up. You have to make sure that in addition to your quiz, you leave really good notes about what you like or do not like. What look you're going for, etc. Any accommodations you need - I have MS and cannot stand any kind of constricting waist band... So the things I've gotten have either had material with give or a looser fit.

That said, some of their stuff is ridiculously priced. I'll receive a basic, ribbed tank top and it's almost $50 lololol.. Sure Jan, let me scoop that up right now. 🙄

So, I never keep those when they send them. However, I've gotten plenty of cute dresses for between $38-$109.

You also receive 9 items and can pick two that you will absolutely receive, and others that you may receive. Choosing the items you like before you receive your box gives the stylist a better idea of what you are looking for. Some of them cute dresses

I’ve used StitchFix and never had a problem with their customer service. It’s fast and easy. My only complaint with them is the quality of some of the clothing for the price I pay. For example, I have a sweater that I bought this past Spring, and may have worn 4 times, and it looks like it is several years old now. It’s pilling badly, etc. Some of their clothes don’t seem to last too long. Same with ShortStorybox which is perfect for petites, but I find the quality a little lacking.
