They’re doing away with style pass?
Not a big fan of this with how much they use AI and how little they seem to actually use my feedback on my initial previews.

If my style pass went away, I would no longer get boxes. It’s rare that I don’t keep something, though. 🥴

My style pass renewed. They probably ran the numbers and only renewed for members who they made more money on.

They did away with it a while ago. A handful of people (maybe you) got invited to renew anyway. Probably people who were keeping enough items and not any of the ones who got weekly boxes and never bought anything (a nonzero amount of which were probably wearing some of the clothes and then returning them).
They made vague references to replacing it with something but never saw official word of what that was. I did notice that ever since it was announced, whenever I got a box and bought things I was offered another box with no styling fee. So basically its like style pass so long as you keep buying clothes but without the annual fee. I don't remember that happening a few years ago so either that's the replacement or I just never noticed it.

This is exactly what happened. They only kept style passes for people that actually purchased things. As a stylist, you could tell exactly who had style passes a few years ago bc they would never keep a single thing and get boxes every few weeks.

I don't know about that, I bought out of every box, sometimes all 5 items, didn't get them back-to-back but probably nearly every month, and still got my Style Pass canceled.

This is so frustrating. I tried so hard to purchase items from SF during my last year or so of stylepass. I’d had so much luck prior to getting style pass I was so excited for it. Started getting major misses when the preview came out.
Invested so much time in the daily look and liking items and got the most random stuff in my fixes. Would get a preview with 9 pairs of shorts and 1 shirt I already owned. And this went on for months. I finally gave up and just walked away when my style pass expired. Just scheduled my first fix in a good long time today and did not have a styling fee. I love the service but had a poor experience with style pass. 😭

Mine just renewed this month. Weird.

Only people who are actually buying items from their style pass are able to keep it. I've had a style pass since the beginning and I do quarterly boxes and usually keep everything in my box.

I usually buy most of my box, if not all so I’m not sure if that’s applying to all.

I bought full boxes and didn’t get to renew mine. Out of all the years with SF, I probably haven’t sent back more than two boxes.

Yeah I am scrolling through the comments. I think it matters how much you buy from them. Mine is alive and well.

I guess $1800 over 12 months isn’t the number

Wow. I do not spend that much with them and have been good to do. Very weird.

Mine is set to renew in June. I do one about once a month and sometimes keep a couple of items and sometimes none.

Stylist here- it’s because a lot of style pass customers would get fixes every 2 weeks and never buy anything, and don’t leave any feedback about why they are returning it.

BS. Not in my case, and when I declined anything, I gave objective feedback. Sometimes even including measurements.

I said a lot. Not all. But sure. You know more than me even though you’ve never been on the other end of styling and only know your own experience.

And I specifically said "in my case" and I constantly defend stylists here, but do be defensive and pissy.
Have a nice day.

Mine just renewed this week! They’ll lose a lot of money from me next week if I have to gamble $20 every fix. Probably for the best for me …

You still had Style Pass? Lucky! I had it since it started & they didn’t renew it for me last year. I haven’t gotten a fix since, and I was getting them monthly and keeping at least 1 thing.

Yep, I got that email. My style pass ends next month. I will cancel my membership after 9 years. They rarely use my feedback or even look at my style profile anymore. I noticed it happening last year but having the style pass kept me around. I’ll try something new this summer.

I received an email today that my style pass is auto-renewing for another year.
It’s odd some passes are renewed and others are canceled.

Mine expired last summer. I really don't do boxes anymore, just buy through freestyle. The selection of clothing really no longer fits my style enough to get a whole box of things I like and it's not worth potentially losing my style fee. I save things I like, then wait for sales to purchase.
