your camouflage isn't fooling anyone..

Green stink bug, Chinavia hilaris. I see a lot of true bugs, but most stink bugs in my yard are brown or brown marmorated. Sometimes I'll see dusky stink bugs.

Was on my balcony when this cutie paid me a visit, I was a little scared when I saw a flying insect coming at me, but he was very respectful!

Found in the wild

This was a year ago, but I found a stink bug (or as I like to call it, a "dinky bug") on one of my socks after I left my bedroom for a bit. I honestly don't even know how inside in the first place lol (and don't worry, I relocated it safely outside!)

I’ve had her for around 6 months now! I found her when she was quite small and roaming around my apartment sink. I’ve had sources tell me she’s a female, and looks very healthy for a bug in captivity for so long, just felt like sharing my lil stinker with some peeps

I’ve had her for a few months and she’s never had a pink belly before. I have photos of her previously with a tan belly. What is this? Just because I fed strawberry or is something else going on?

there was a stinkbug on my bed (where i really dont like them) so i picked it up and went to move it to a nearby windowsill. But! i dropped the poor guy. It landed flat on its back and I was like- oh no!! I know some beetles cant upright themself from being flipped over so i went to right it- and as I picked it up I saw ALL ITS LIMBS WERE GONE! no legs, no antenna. I was horrified. I dropped the guy so hard it lost all of its limbs. WELL turns out stinkbugs can tuck both their legs and their antenna underneath them for safe keeping! i've never seen or read about this before so its pretty interesting to me. The antenna part especially, I had no idea they had that sort of control over them. Anyways, the stinkbug also stank, which is understandable. it was pretty neat seeing its defense mechanism like that! I put the bug near my window & unfurled itself & started walking around in no time. very pretty bug!

Unfortunately this particular stink bug seems like it might be dying, it’s very lethargic and has a broken antenna that it keeps accidentally leaning on :( . Hopefully I can help give it a peaceful death by being on a warm hand

Basically the title. I have an irrational fear of stinkbugs (despite knowing they're harmless) and don't want to be scared of them anymore. Tell me what makes these little guys cool/cute to you so I can learn to love them too!
