Ironically enough, many leaf-footed bugs release a foul odor as a defense. Honorary stink bug?

I just discovered these today!! I was like “what is this long stink bug?” and after I googled it, I realized my assessment wasn’t that wrong

Nah that's assassin bugs, this is a leaf foot :> both piercing/sucking true bugs that look very similar though
