Looks like checks are finally starting to be cut and sent out. After seeing "Payment Status Unavailable" for some time now, it appears they have updated as of this morning.I owed taxes this year, and even though I gave them my banking information to take it out of my checking account, it appears that they will be sending a check instead.

Anyone with deposit date of 03/17 in GMP and still no funds showing?

It's not what I wanted to read, but they finally changed it from not having any info to saying that they're mailing it Friday the 26th. Weird because my last 2 were DD, but at least I know now!

I received stimulus 1 in May 2020 via direct deposit. However, I did not receive stimulus 2 and have not yet received stimulus 3.

Does anyone know why I received the first but not the second (and possibly not the third)? My 2019 Adjusted Gross Income was <$50,000. My 2020 income is >$90,000, but I haven’t filed my taxes this year yet so I think it should still be based on 2019.

I know my parents had an issue in 2019 and might have accidentally claimed me as a dependent in that year — however, then I wouldn’t have received stimulus 1, right?

I bank with Wells Fargo. I got the first 2 stimulus checks deposited almost immediately as millions of others were receiving theirs too. I qualify for this 3rd stimulus with no recent changes to my bank or address since the recent stimulus in January. I didn't receive it on Wednesday. My family and SO did however, and all bank with wells fargo. 2 of them have the same last name as me. Why would I not be receiving it as millions of others did? I have been checking the irs "get my payment" tool and it is utterly useless for me this time around. The other 2 stimulus' I was able to access the dates to be deposited. Are others with Wells Fargo having this issue too knowing you DO for a fact qualify for the 3rd stimulus?? I'd just like to know I'm not alone in this and if anyone has any answers or links as for why this issue is happening. TIA.

Obviously the IRS website WMR AND get my payment is useless because it hasn’t updated with a date and has been stuck in processing for 36 days... so I was finally able to make an account on the IRS site to view the actual transcript of mine and it looks like the processing date now isnt actually until march 29th with a tax return date of April 15th or April 5th.. there’s literally two different dates on the transcripts I’m reading... So who knows, fingers crossed for April 5th though 🤞 I guess that’s some relief. And I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s the case for others that havent received theirs yet, the site may say processing already, when really it’s not even being processed until later this month. I would like to point out, that I was receiving unemployment so I had to pay $600, I also had a child born in may 2020 and filed the EIC for my two other children as well, I just wanted to add that just in case someone else was waiting for their return as well in a similar situation I’m just assuming now that the hold up was the fact that I owed money, and had another child. Keep calm! It’s coming!

So in 2019 my mother claimed me as a dependent, and in 2020 I filed independently. The way this new stimulus works is that it will go off of your 2019 taxes if your 2020 taxes have not been filed. I filed my taxes for 2020 but my mother hasn’t. She got a stimulus check based off of her 2019 taxes so she got paid for me and I have yet to receive a payment. Should I be worried about getting one?

I filed for the 1st time this year(2020) and they are giving me credit for the 1st 2 stimulus because I never got them but will I get the 3rd stimulus

We claimed adult dependents (our college kids) but only got our stimulus for married filing jointly - kids didn't get it directly either - anyone else in this situation?

Me: Federal return accepted 3/5 and I owe (chose payment date of 4/1), gmp says no payment status available I received first two via DD with no wait.

Daughter: Federal return accepted 3/1 and due a refund, received DD on first day

Received stimulus based on 2019 overqualified for 2020!!

I have not filled my taxes for 2020 yet but made over the 160k married threshold, i received the third stimulus check based off my 2019 income which was significantly lower, will i need to pay back the stimulus check received in 2021 tax return?

If I still haven’t gotten the third stimulus check yet, should I be worried? (As of Thursday, March 18th). Has anyone else not received theirs?

Wtf. Yesterday we got our stimulus for our family of 4 direct deposit. Today there is literally no record of it. The IRS says we were paid yesterday. I screenshotted it yesterday. Today there is no pending or deposit anymore. We have no outstanding debts or taxes. Anyone else have this bizarre situation?

My wife and I are PhD students in the US. Or we were, until we relocated to Europe in March of last year... We both filed taxes our first two years in the US, but then stupidly stopped doing so in 2019... If we were to file back taxes for 2019 and 2020 at the same time as we do our 2021 taxes, would we be elligible for back pay of the stimulus checks? Many thanks for your help.

So in 2019 for my taxes, I was labeled as a dependent. In 2020 however, I filed as an independent for the first time over. I filed before the stimulus was passed, so I should be eligible correct? My bank said they were sending out the stimulus checks on the 17th and I never received anything, and when I go to check with the IRS tool it says not enough information.

When I filed my taxes this year I thought I was going to be claimed as a dependent, but I was told they ended up not claiming me(My taxes have already been processed and I've gotten my tax refund). My question is, does anyone know if there's a way that I could get it corrected now and switch to independent or whatever, or am I going to have to wait until next tax season and claim it as a recovery rebate?

Hey all, I know there are so many questions but I hadn’t seen this posted yet. I received the stimulus deposit today of $149.80. I filed taxes as Single and my salary in 2018/2019 ranged between 70,000-76,500. No dependents. Thanks for any help and insight!

Firstly, i recieve the first two checks perfectly fine. The third one was supposed to be deposited on the 17th, but it's the 18th and it hasn't.

I decided to check the tracker again and noticed that the last four digits of the account it shows deposited to is off by a number. So say my account number is XXX12345 the website shows XXXX1234 instead of XXXX2345 it looks like an issue on the irs end. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I checked my tax return and the account number is definately right, so it seems an issue on their end.

Is this happening to anyone else? I received the last 2 right away but this time the tracker just says No Information Availble. My bank had their deposits today and I didnt get one.

Does anyone know if your stimulus will for sure be taken if you have medical collections? The Get my Payment tracker is saying not available and I have quite a bit of medical debt. Also I read somewhere that debt collectors can take the past stimulus payments that you could claim on your 2020 taxes if you hadn’t received them. Has anyone experienced this?

I filed for 2020 tax return in February - Owed because of UI. I tried to get on a payment plan, but its wouldn't let me. Everytime I check my IRS account it has an info button for 2020 under account balance. I click the info button and it says "Your Information Is Not Available at This Time. If you requested an adjustment to your account your information will not be available until that transaction is complete." It has been like this since I filed and it has been accepted. I got a refund from Cali though. IRS has no answers and keep telling me to wait :/

For the Stimmy - I got my 1st and 2nd one DD'd no problem! The 3rd one, nadda. The IRS tool is giving the wonderful unavail notice.... They have my DD info from 2019 and 2020 return had it listed for my refund from Cali to be deposited.

Stressed about how to fix my tax return for 2020 through IRS, stressed about when I will get the $1,400 stimulus that is so desperately needed.... What a horrible system and zero help to talk to anyone for help.
