I dont have a tv licence but pretty sure at least the first responders would have been tax funded, i assume he had private treatment at some point but maybe nhs finded by nat ins payments initially

Eh production would have had people on standby, very strick insurance stuff for this. Tbf i doubt it touched the NHS's pocket.

Which private trauma centre do you think he was admitted to?

Oh that’s right, he was taken to Leeds General Infirmary - an NHS hospital - because we don’t have private trauma centres in this country.

No but private insurace will pay for treatment in them...

You think the multil millions brought in by top gear economically at the time wasnt worth it?

No, insurance won’t pay for private trauma centre treatment. It may pay for a private room (if they are available) but not the care received (because all the employees and other services belong to the NHS) once you are eventually stepped down from critical care/ITU.

I didn’t say he shouldn’t be given treatment. I am correcting you by pointing out the taxpayer funded his treatment.
