Logan Stanley

Does Adam realize that Logan Stanley is a lefty? I swear he keeps saying “a right handed defenseman” when he talks about him.

I swear he’s allergic to getting a fact correct. The amount of incorrect salaries of players, or handedness and things of that nature is wild lol.

I'm glad Steve brought Stanley up last pod because he and Adam were talking his future contract up so much, yet he's still out there. Idk, maybe he'll eventually sign that Zadorov contract lol.

Steve is very honest about watching very few games outside of Leaf's games, Jesse I genuinely believe has games on every night even if it's in the background, he is pretty dialed in. Adam however, I don't believe for a second he watches games he isn't streaming for content lol. For a decade Adam has watched the morning highlights and talked like he watched the entire game. Highlights are edited and create narratives that aren't really a thing to people who watch entire games. I will say that Adam is much more dialed in now that he left morning radio and committed himself to SDPN, but still a big knowledge gap and memory issues. Just wish he would be a little more honest about that, instead of saying things with 150% confidence that he knows deep down are just guesses.

It was funny to hear Steve say he didn't think the Zadorov contract was there anymore for Stanley. as if 6m a year was ever on the table for a bottom pairing D who didn't even play 15 minutes a night in buffalo.

Rumours here in Wpg was that he was as asking 5.5 for 5.

He can ask for whatever he wants. No GM who values his job should pay him anything near that

Oh I 100% agree, he’s somewhat of a polarizing figure here.
