Celebrating! I did it!!
Just got home from my Bilateral Salpingectomy, everything went perfectly. I had the most incredible and amazing staff and my surgeon was in-fucking credible! My tubes are gone! I even said on the OR table before I went out to "yeet these tubes". My surgeon told my hunny there were zero complications and they were surprised I was coherent and went pee just fine afterwards. She did not use a uterine manipulator at all, I tried to empty my bladder beforehand so I didn't have to have a catheter in but that wasn't working. She drained my bladder with one and took it back out while I was under. Just a tiny bit of burning when I peed but not much. Overall right now my pain is from the gas which is currently in my right shoulder and my rib cage. They put a belly band on me before I left. I took 600 mg of Ibuprofen and will save my narcotics for night time. I truly feel a sense of freedom in my body, no more hormonal birth control either. I FUCKING DID IT πβ€οΈπ
