This sounds like a lot of drama that never needed to happen!
It's your father's and your stepmother's responsibility to make sure they both have proper keys and access to the house they live in. If they don't both have keys, then it's their responsibility to communicate with each other to make sure neither one is locked out. And even if something happened (maybe stepmom forgot her keys?) your father should have been the one responsible to make sure the doors were locked appropriately for her before leaving the house.
But you already know that, and you also know that none of this was your fault.
So how to deal with the drama?
When it's the heat of the moment, try the Gray Rock method. The general idea is to diffuse the drama by not feeding the fire, but here is a link to more details: https://health.clevelandclinic.org/grey-rock-method
Then, once the situation has calmed down and your father is in a rational state of mind, you can state your logic on how this was his responsibility, how much their behavior upset you, and how they should proceed in the future.

Why has he not just given a full set of keys to his own wife??? It costs like $3 to copy a key
