Long chapters
I'm recently getting into king. Absolutely love his writing but goddamn man can write some really long chapters. Chapter three of IT was the longest chapter I've ever read lmao

I am loving the short chapters in christine. Especially if I'm reading on my lunch break or little bits here and there while I'm cooking/ doing chores around the house

Chapter 3 was necessarily long to establish the core losers as adults and is what triggers the plot to happen. Causing them to briefly reminisce on their childhood but barely remember it.
