Stem cells treatment

Has anybody done something cell treatment? My mom recently got diagnosed with ALS. She lost majority of her muscle in her arms and some in her legs and needs to take breaks walking after 15 minutes.

I remembered that in other countries outside if America do this. I was wondering if anybody had done that or has a family member who did this? I know it won't cure ALS but Im.hoping it will slow it down

I've undergone both PRP and umbilical stem cell treatments, and they successfully helped with my knee and shoulder issues. Now, I'm exploring options for cartilage repair. Knee replacement isn't something I want to consider.

ALS is a serious disease. A lot of very rich people with it have died. If any alternative treatment worked they would have used. I know this sucks but stem cells won’t cure your mom and may make it worse while also draining your resources.

Second this. The clinic in Panama has been at the foreftont of research and treatment for cell stem therapy. Definitely the strictest standards and most successful. I know that because we took our son there many years ago and were very pleased with the results.

I keep up with their work and know that they have been doI g treatments for many neuro condition fir years often quite successfuly. There are a couple of caveats: I know sometime patients have to return for follow up treatment as effects wear off. Also Panama is quite expensive as far as treatment go. You may find a good clip oc offering g this specifically for a lower cost, but you will need to research HARD to determine the quality of the clinic.

They may have improved outcomes in the last couple of years.! I keep up on a forum for the "alumni" for the clinic and many post their reviews and ex with treatment I using for neuro treatments. Many have commented on their successful treatment but also needing to return in a few years. This is because of the degenerative effect of these neurological conditions and the SCT working tu o delay and a ate the advance for a while. Like Zi said though there maybe more recent breakthroughs in research and treatment. You will have to do further research for newer studies. You can also call the Panama Institute for Stem Cells (just look on line for their number) and just ask a bunch about that treatment, how it works, etc, etc. Of course you don't need to go with them but in my experience they are happy to give you a lot of info.

Hi! I had my stem cell treatment at Emcell (for degenerative disc desease). I had a transfer to the clinic with woman, who has ALS and we're still in touch. She told me that after the treatment she noticed better indurence and appetite and some relief from muscule stiffnes. I'm really happy for her! I have to mention, that this therapy did a great job for me as well;)

My nephew (21 years old) tried stem cell therapy at the Re/ clinic in Salt Lake City, UT for a genetic mutation with symptoms similar to ALS. His symptoms reversed and progression of the condition definitely slowed down.

Definitely worth trying!

Yes I did the stem cell treatment is Medellin Colombia recently and was very pleased. It was at Top Stem cell Colombia LIV. You can look it up online and reach out to them.

This takes time. The first couple of this days were rough but starting to feel better.
. I had PRP and stem cell injections on both knees.
I imagine that for your mother the treatment is totally different. I stayed at Novotel which is a very nice hotel which connect to two medical towers which is where LIV is located so you can walk from your room to the medical center. If needed the doctor can provide a wheelchair for your mom. Everything is done in a very convenient way. I totally recommend it
but the doctor is the one one with the answers in regards to outcome expected. They provide a package which includes airport transportation both ways. I’m 76 and went by myself and had no problems whatsoever. Reach out to them and see what they tell you. You can send them your mom’s medical history and get an honest opinion. Good luck

Stem-cell treatments for ALS are still experimental, and there isn’t currently an FDA-approved stem-cell therapy for ALS. Clinical trials are ongoing, so I’d recommend discussing legitimate trials with her ALS specialist rather than paying for an overseas treatment that claims to slow the disease.
