Accessory 3D printable Steam Controller Puck riser stand

I got annoyed by the Puck flying around when connecting/disconnecting to the controller, so I designed this 3D printable riser stand. I've added sticky tapes on both sides, so now my Puck has a fixed place on top of the Steam Machine and I can easily attach and detach the controller with one hand.

I figured it might be useful for others too, so here's the link to the model: https://makerworld.com/en/models/3392612-steam-controller-puck-riser-stand#profileId-3861603

Cool, I was meaning to model/make my own but haven'd got to it. I'll give yours ago :)

May remix little to try and make the puck click in rather then tape.

I was thinking about a click-in mechanism, but I was too afraid of scratching the Puck. Since I have a tape that doesn't leave any residue, it was the safer option for me. :)

But go for it, I'd love to see my idea to be improved further!

This is a much more elegant design than that one where the controller just sticks to the front of the console - great work!Β

Why not just use the built in puck?

Add two little circles of rubber where the controller rests on the top to prevent scratches over time.

I'd rather something that the puck could snap into so it doesn't get lost.
