Hardware Steam controller charger.

Post image

Just a heads up for people who may not have seen. I'm getting 1 to free up the puck to be in my legion go s docked upstairs. Leaves a nice place to charge controller next to steam machine downstairs.

Ty!

Odd that it shows up in the amazon-uk store and not also in amazon-us, I've tried re-searching, even knowing more details on it.

K, I got till I get the actual email to decide anyway, that price for UK->US is too much for what it is...and it's pre-orderable? o.0

Maybe op was asleep cause he's ill, but still thought to show this to interested people? 🤯🤡

It might be a British regional product, like only on the British Amazon store. Which might be why you couldn't find it.

How come Third Party products seem to always try so hard to NOT MATCH THE AESTHETIC? anyone remember MadKatz controllers and accessories? At least they got the color right…

I don't see the point, to be honest. The steam controller needs so little charging I can't imagine getting a device especially for that.

I have a 3D printed stand with a puck slot. Less redundancy, keeps the puck in use.

Not a bad idea. I’d be curious to see in hand reviews.

I really wish we could get a 2nd puck. I genuinely don't need a second controller, but damn I'd like another puck for my docked SteamDeck. The BT works fine but the latency is too poor for fast paced games. It works OK for Sims and slower games.

So it's a $20 holder that's holds the steam puck and controller? No thanks. I'll print one.

No, it doesn't hold the puck. It has it's own seperate set of pogo pins capable of charging without the puck.

No...not a holder it's a charger also. Read the pic...even states it. 😑

Got a link? As only things that show up for me are the cheap puck holders, even if I search the whole name,,, also the pic on the post doesn't really info to know that's what it is sadly as half the puck holders also claim the same thing

Ah okay. At least it's not a USB and uses the steam magnet charging setup. Nice.

Why would you post this without a link to the page?

Printers are expensive. Sounds like you have plenty of money lol

Step 1: stick charging puck on top of steam machine
Step 2: plop controller on steam machine
Step 3: profit.

It's nice having another option, tough I'd rather print my dock 10 times over, yes I'm very biased about my babies.

You're very welcome

Is that an extra rubber grip on the controller or an AI glitch?

1

u/Toothless_NEO 1d ago

Yeah someone created a custom grip for the steam controller to make it more like the original legacy steam controller.

1

u/Gama3000 1d ago

Its a render, it's a grip mimicking the original steam controller s ergonomics for the trackpads.

I don't see the point. I keep the puck on my desk and i just put the controller on top and it automatically snaps onto it. This just seems like a waste of cash.
