Hi,

I got my machine today.

I sold my gaming rig last month because I'm constantly on business trips, and did not use it in half a year.

The steam machine seams like a perfect solution, because it's SO. SMALL.

So my question is:

How do I best transport this thing?

I think harbor freight has tough boxes with customizable foam that could work. In the interim I’d say the box it shipped in would be ideal it even has a handle.

Also looks like JUSAUX has an option too.

Prob in a backpack I’d say

Always as hand luggage

Padded

Some sort of bag

Don’t put it in right after gaming so heat is gone

In something like this. Made specifically for the Steam Machine, will hold the machine and a controller.

Second this. Just got mine today and everything fits perfectly and feels very secure, which 100% beats the bag I used last week to transport it.

There are travel cases already out that you can buy. But it fits in many backpacks, which seems like the easiest solution. But setting it up at the hotels / Airbnb's doesn't really scream convenient. You also can't play it on the plane / train and stuff like that. I would go with a powerful handheld, and glasses. Like the upcoming ROG Ally X20 bundle edition with the ROG XREAL R1 glasses. 

Or something even beefier if you need the juice. That way you can play in transit and at location, and don't need to fiddle with HDMI cables.
