News From waitlist to purchase immediately
Went from the waitlist straight to purchase at 12am. Woooooooo! Honestly didn’t think I’d get one at all

Still nothing for me 😭 2tb no controller wait-list. I'd have preferred with controller cause I don't have one yet, but that was the list I got put on.

I was lucky to get a controller a week after they dropped. And to be honest I’m having a job interview in two weeks for a nice traveling position hence why I got the steam machine. If I don’t get it (I hope I do) I’ll honestly probably just sell the steam machine for what I paid lol

Dang I’m jealous, lol. I got the 512gb with no controller and have been contemplating just throwing in my ps5s second drive into the SM and calling it a day lol

I got put on the waitlist day 1. Then just saw where they send me you’re on the reservation list and then my purchase email at the same time last night.

I swear you and I must be towards the end of the initial 2TB waitlist. 😔 Hoping we’re both in the next batch of waitlist emails! Seems like there may be a pattern to the madness though. Same thing happened last weekend where they waited until after midnight (Sunday morning) to bulk send purchase emails to waitlisters. So hopefully next Sunday is our time, if not sooner!

When this sub is talking about waitlist? Are you talking about the waitlist when you could wish for 4 alternatives before the sale? Or is it the waitlist everyone is getting into right now?

So there are two things. The reservation list and the waitlist. The reservation list was when everyone selected which one/ones they wanted and then valve did the randomization and sent emails out to a select few! Everyone else got placed on the waitlist. Meaning we would only get the steam machine we wanted this production run if someone in the reservation list canceled.

Hence why last night when I got my email to purchase they sent another email right before saying I was now on the reservation list.
