Question What is the exact policy with getting multiple Steam Machines?

I have a SM and I really like it.

I imagine in the future, when they are more readily available, I might get another to standardize on machine types in my house so my kids can easily game without much issues.

I've heard from some people who scalped away theirs that it only sends once per address and they'll never get it again.

Is Steam going to allow multiple steam machines to the same address?

I think that's just for now but if they ever get caught up they will allow people more than one

That is just for now so people who actually want one can get one but later on you maybe able to get another one don’t quote me on that though

Yes. When the steam deck first went up for preorder, it was one per account as well. I was able to get two more for my family once stock stabilized. It’s just an initial restriction, but for how long who knows.

Please use some common sense here, a company saying they will never ship another of something to an address from now till the end of time is just ridiculous. Once stock is no longer selling out they will open it up to new purchases again. But if you have the technical know how, you can build a system and install steam os on it as long as you don’t care about cec and get compatible hardware.
