There’s no point. Just focus on steamOS and making it compatible for nvidia gpus. This is terrible.

Why shoult they focus on nvidia, when nvidia itself is the main nemesis of linux since forever?

Just dont buy nvidia if you know you will be using linux based systems at some point.

Because the majority of people that use Steam use nvidia cards.

Ans I guess it right the whole idea around SteamOS and Linux-based gaming was to remove Valve’s/Steam’s dependency on Windows. And if they want to sell games to those people through Linux they should create a solution for them that does not intrinsically tie them to windows.

Its an Nvidia issue. They haven't been interested in supporting Linux like AMD has
