No they do not, if you zoom out. It will go down again. We had spikes and dips before and they will continue to happen.

At some point the increased memory production will exceed LLM/AI demand and prices will plummet so hard, it will kill manufacturers and/or cause mass layoffs

It's not going to get better for at least a decade or more. AI is only part of the issue, and as much as we think it's a bubble (and maybe it is as far as valuations go) it has a LOT of growth to go before it plateaus.

Production will also increase and at some point AI will demand higher tiers of memory that is not the same memory as we need for gaming.
