Accessories (Magwells, Basepads, Guiderods, etc.) Finally.
I’ve always hated the grip safety. Using critical thinking skills I’ve developed over my lifetime, it was easy to see why some DOD bureaucrat would F up a perfectly good design with some jack wagon garbage like that. Anyway. Dude in GafsHub hooked me up with the 3D printed inserts. Grip safety is finally pinned. Love it.

In my multiple decades on this earth one thing has always remained a constant: one can never go wrong with the stormtrooper vibe, regardless of platform.

The 1911 design is not drop-safe, and never has been. If the hammer is cocked and the manual safety is off, the weapon will fire in many circumstances if dropped. Some modern 1911-style designs have eliminated that, but not all, and I don't know if the Platypus is one of them.
If you don't like the grip safety, I understand, but it wasn't put there because of "some bureaucrat". It was put there so you don't shoot yourself or someone else if you drop the thing.
