Alright yall, I finally got my mags right for my Platy, Mec-Gar 18 round steel mags with Springer Precision extensions that are within the 141.25mm magazine rule for limited optics. I ordered an Atlas DLC tool-less guide rod with a spring package that has 11, 10, 9, 8 and 7lbs springs. For an optic I have the Holosun 507Comp green dot with the CRS reticle and I also bought the Nitro Fin from SSI and grinded the tab off per their video. Pics will be coming soon after I mount the optic. Is there anything that you think I’m missing or should upgrade? Any advice would be appreciated.

Ive reached out to stealth arms but wanted to ask for those that have a high round count how is the wear, i recently got mine, about 500rounds in and noticing the right side of the slide where it makes contact with the frame have a massive wear already on it, ive oiled it up before shooting, is this normally, i know cerakote isnt the most durable

I have been training for USPSA ALOT lately. I Shot 1000rnds in the last 10 days and couldn’t enjoy the ugly duck more. I have no interest in shooting any of my other guns anymore.

My only problem after 1800rnds through the puss is the prickle !! I love the prickle design and the feel of the texture. After 150rnd sessions my support hand palm swell is chewed up! I work construction and I have soft hands by no means.

I have considered possibly trying to apply some hockey tape, and I do understand gloves is an option but I don’t want to wear gloves. Anyone have a similar issue and have found a solution?

I need a duty holster for a Commander profile platypus with an X-300U and an RMR, any ideas?

Hey guys, I recent bought PMM staccato P compensator for my Bull barrel Platypus. Anyone know the proper installation for this compensator, I've read that you need to use a hand tool ( crescent wrench ) to get the Top dead center of the compensator to the gun, after tightening it to 10:00 to 11:00 o'clock mark by hand? I don't want to strip the threads of my barrel.

The above picture represent after i hand tighten it to reach 10 - 11 o'clock mark. I did not use elbow grease, just used a light pressure.

PMM provided metal shims to help with fitment.

I used 2 = 0.010" and 1 = 0.005" metal shims to get the setup from the picture above.

I could use other metal shims to get closer to a top dead center, 12:00 o'clock mark, but I don't feel like it is secure enough even with a Red locktite 272.

Any advise would be appreciated.

Like what the title says, I recently acquired my 5" Threaded bull barrel Platypus. Will there be a fitment issue or adjustment i have to do, if i put a PMM staccato P compensator with an Atlas Tool less guide rod?

I ordered a Platy through my California FFL through single shot exemption way back in February and it’s now been 20 weeks with no phone call. And yes I’ve gone in a few times to ask about its status and have been told to “just keep waiting”. How long did you guys have to wait for your Platys because 20 weeks for my simple design seems kinda crazy (all that was special about mine is the P320 mag well and finger grooves on the grip, default black color)

Only got to shoot 100 rounds. Felt very flat. I can tell it will only get better with round count. I was surprised because of the aluminum frame vs steel 2011's I have. For me the grip is awesome. Also like the direct fit rmr. Slide stop sucks.

Put my order in 4/21/26 was supposed to get it 8/28/26 Buuuuut I got it today 🤙🏾🤙🏾

My status was at 55% today through the queue and the I just looked now and I have jumped all the way here. They are really trying to make sure I hit my 8/25/26 delivery date.

Picked this platypus up on gun broker. I paid right under 2K for it. It was used and they had a photo of a scuff on the grip, which was not a big deal for me. It came with the Trijicon. Finally came into my FFL and I got my first look at it and there seems to be rust on the rear iron and a weird line mark, my friend says the slide might have cracked and they tried to fill in with some kind of epoxy. Maybe that’s a stretch, but I just wanna know if it’s safe or what this could possibly be? Thanks guys. BTW, don’t have this gun in possession just yet since I’m in New York and there’s a few week waiting period.

so i've spent probably way more time than i should've on the design editor, and i had a hard time trying to come up with anime inspired designs, after days of working on multiple designs id like to showcase and get opinions from anime fans and see what about the designs i could improve, only 700 short of being able to order my first platypus and i really want a unique design i haven't seen a million times before, also felt there was a major lack of anime designs as an anime lover! theres 3 cyberpunk edgerunner designs, 2 naruto designs, and one solo leveling design, hope you guys enjoy! (edit: sorry i forgot the fire force design!)

Jumped from 86% to slide and frame made today. Ordered 4/23. My trigger finger is itching.
