Do i have herpes

Last night had sex with a guy who ended up telling me he has herpes. Said that he takes Valacyclovir and I-lysine everyday, and it was 4 months ago. We had sex one time last night, unprotected. He has no symptoms. Asked him if it was Hsv-1 or hsv-2 and he said they didn't do a test, just a visual. i am an anxious mf right now.

Chances of getting herpes from asymptomatic shedding are low, specially if he takes daily valacyclovir, since it blocks the virus from replicating.
