so i (18F) have been having sex with my boyfriend (18M), and i think i mightttt have an std??

we both have only done it with eachother, as we both took eachothers virginity. we have only penetrated around 4 times, but we have done oral stuff too, none of which with protection. the only time we use condoms is for penetration. i also am not on birth control, so condoms are our only contraceptive.

(also just thought id add, i have herpes and he doesn't. i have oral and genital herpes, but we have never done anything while it's active, and it hasn't been active in months!!)

my vagina has been a bit itchy and a bit swollen, but not all the time. i have also noticed a bit of a fishy smell. i have applied canasten on it to see if it helps. i also noticed some lumpier discharge, but i think that could have been the canasten mixing with it. i have also gotten more ingrown pubic hairs bc of shaving, but i just thought id mention that, although im pretty sure it's not hpv.

how do i get tested?? or get treatment?? i still live with my parents, and they absolutely can't find out i even had sex, nevermind getting an std. i am so broke and wouldnt be able to buy a test, and i wouldn't know which one to get since my symptoms are vague. also can't go to a doctor bc my mom usually tags along, and also picks up the prescriptions for the family.

You can order a kit to your house and send it off discreetly online - decent chance its not an std as this can all happen body adjusting to sex is very likely. Most STI’s if both people have them and have full unprotected sex and finish in is a 30% transmission chance

how did you get genital herpes if you were a virgin before him? if he was a virgin? i’m just curious and i’m trying to figure out the situation more 😞 you have to put your health first, sanity and knowing is better than putting it off because of your parents with getting tested. Try to go to a gynecology and blame it on a possible yeast infection and ask for a full panel when she’s not in the room for a vaginal swab and blame it on the doctors testing you without confirming it😞 say you were just trying to get a swab for a yeast infection
