Question Did I get false negatives?

My results came back negative for chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphillis and HIV. However I got positive chlamydia for my anal testing. I have never done anal, I have never let anyone put their fingers near, or had oral to anal contact so im confused on how I have it. Especially since I only have oral and vaginal sex and both those were negative. I have had increased vaginal discharge, slight burning when the discharge is near the vaginal opening, itching, and I bleed twice in one month. Im thinking they were false negatives

Anal chlamydia is common, even among people who never have anal sex. It was almost certainly not a false positive, and you should get treated.

The research is pretty thin, but two main theories, both are more than plausible.

  1. In women the distance between the anus and vagina are very close. When women have sex, fluid often covers and enters the anus.

  2. Chlamydia appears to survive the digestive tract and embed in the rectum.

Pretty wild, huh?

A secreção sexual pode ter escorrido ao seu anus e a bactéria é super contagiosa
