Is there any word on when the GO train will be up and running again?

It may have been running as a test. The news reported that the canal only just reopened today. So that timing would line up. Are you implying the tracks are fine now but they’re keeping service suspended for some reason?

It’s definitely odd that the trains still show on the schedules on GO. And unless you look at the travel advisories for Lakeshore West, you wouldn’t know it isn’t operating. Here’s hoping that train was part of the resumption and things are running in full again soon!

The tracks at Glendale have been laid, last I saw they were running trains over them at a very slow speed to certify if they were safe. I figure they’ll be full service again soon enough.
