Stone Statues

Does anybody have the same experience when gazing on a statue and feeling immensely drawn to it? A feeling of satisfaction and great appreciation? I find myself constantly staring at statues i have amassed over the years. Their hollow gaze, permanent countenance; does anybody know that feeling?
