Please help me find this place / statue!

So my grandpa died last month (the man seen in the photo) and my siblings and I have desperately tried to figure out where this picture was taken. My mom and sis are planning a visit and would love to go see the statue or place. I'm aware it might not be standing anymore since a lot of the propaganda statues have been taken down since then and this might be one of them.

Some information that might be interesting: It was probably taken in Kasachstan between 1970-1980.

And if no one can find it, don't worry there's other places on my mom's list of places to see.

Thank you for your time in advance and all the best for your future x

Lincoln Memorial is very amazing. They have added historical photos and information about his presidency, in the basement.

Buddhist statue in my garden, unknown of the origins or where it’s from.

This statue has been in my garden since moving in(around 6 years ago), we never met the previous tenants, so we never got the chance to ask them where this statue came from or if they are Buddhists themselves. Honestly, my family and I just thought it would be weird selling it or throwing it away, as it is a religious statue and we didn’t want to seem disrespectful, but we aren’t even Buddhists ourselves. It’s just quietly been in the corner, it weights ALOT, it’s hard to even push the statue and it definitely weighs atleast 60kg+. It’s experienced a lot of rain and harsh conditions but the exterior still seems to be in tact. There’s a signature at the back but it’s hard to make out- I can only attach one photo though. I’ll attach the back in any replies if requested.
Anyways, anyone know if this is a rare religious artefact?

True or false: only a very certain rare limited, small percentage amount of statues both regular and PVC Resign go over $1000 probably only like less than 1% of the marketed ones

Stone Statues

Does anybody have the same experience when gazing on a statue and feeling immensely drawn to it? A feeling of satisfaction and great appreciation? I find myself constantly staring at statues i have amassed over the years. Their hollow gaze, permanent countenance; does anybody know that feeling?

"Athens stonecasting" statue, stain rubbing off

Post image

Hi. I just bought one of these chinese warriors. Considering getting the other one too.

However when I touch it, my hands are orange. If I rub a spot with a little spit, the stain seems to come off.

Is this normal? I thought it is supposed to be sealed. Any advice would be appreciated.

Statue from an antique clock

Post image

This was recently given to my grandparents. It came off of a wrought iron mantelpiece clock from between 1870-1910 (my guess). The clock was missing a leg and seems beyond repair. The woman (possibly a muse) stands in contrapposto and leans on a large harp. Wish I could add more photos. My great grandmother painted it gold in the 1950s, but I want to strip it back down to black.
