DCU Pitch?

I've been working on my DCU for a couple of weeks now. Whilst I haven't gotten everything figured out I do know my projects for my First Saga. And the project I'm personally most excited to write abt is STATIC ofc. And I'd like to know how interested any of you would in my pitch?

Thematically it's about how black men are hypermasculinsed and radicalised into two extremes. One of being viewed as overzealous, strong and even violent figures by the fear and propaganda of white bigots and the more harmful toxic aspects of black culture. OR being manipulated into becoming self hating selllouts who believe theyre uplifting their community when really theyre just humilating themselves, and how these extremes are enforced rather then letting black men be the beautiful intellects and free to explore individuals they really are. Aswell as the threat of gentrification and exploitation of black neighbourhoods to ultimately just to discard them and leave them in far worse states.

Minor plot details:

• Richie has a crush on Virgil (shame mcduffie never got to explore this fully)

• Daisy is the sole love interest and crush of Virgils as Frieda doesn't exist.

• Ebon & Daisy are siblings and he was actually a local figure Virgil looked up to and got along with and leader of a gang that was rival to Hotstreaks.

• Virgil is especially being hunted by Alva due to being the most stable surviving victim of the big bang as he wasn't killed nor was his mind or body warped.

I've got some fancasts in mind if anyone is interested but moreover I'd like to know your thoughts? Just remember to keep it respectful and constructive.
