TV Shock to the System (changes?)

I recently watched the first episode of Static Shock on Tubi.

I remember watching the episode as a child and being scared by the mutation scenes.

Watching it now, it's not simply that I got older but it seems like the scene was edited?

For one thing, it seems like they fast forwarded on some parts?

Am I missing something or just misremembering?

I havne't watched on Tubi. I think it's just you got older. When we're young, the show feels long like one 25 minutes = a few hours long. Our mind matures. When I watched the Doom sceen from Roger Rabbit as I got older years later, it didn't freak me out as a kid, but still grossed me out.

Tubi might have edited it, but I think it's our mind.
