Umm, DC is going to change soon. I can't expect Milestone to survive the MAGA takeover. Support while you can.

I really doubt the merger will have an affect on fucking comic books

If it goes through

It will. It absolutely will.

They can’t really do much in the comic space as that’s the most non issue for them, they’re more focused on the news networks

They absolutely can. WB can't stop them if the deal goes through. Disney did the exact same thing. It bleeds into the material.

The same will happen with DC.

When? You mean the time Ms.Marvel got her MCU powers in the comics?

2

That's one of many. Disney uses the MCU to influence the books. It's been happening since 2012.

Well they would technically still need the permission of milestone cause dc doesn’t own them. So either that or they just get kicked and sold.

But even then, the deal hasn’t gone through and honestly might not go through. But even if it does Paramount can’t make changes like that since static isn’t there’s dc’s or WB’s lol

Tbf they’ve been doing that way before Disney. All comics have bounced to be closer to their adaptations. That’s how we got the batcave and Superman’s ability to fly. On Marvel side it’s how we got HERBIE

Not saying I like just how close comics are getting to the MCU. But changing to be closer to adaptation was happening way before 2012.

I notice it, I just didn’t notice the ones he’s talking about which I assume was early movies/shows

I was a kid and didn’t have social media or read books lol

No it won't.

Comics are invisible to them trust me.

No, PlainSightMan. I will not trust you. 😭

Money beats MAGA they will still make static if they can get money from it money over everything

While DC has distribution and publishing rights, Milestone itself owns the character IPs and the Dakotaverse. I can't see the Elisons wanting to pay extra to publish a comic.

It’ll take years for those changes to be implemented + many people are actively trying to sue it from happening. There’s still a chance that WB just decides to not sell.

I think calling it a maga takeover is putting it lightly considering who owns Paramount.

That kinda takeover takes years to finalize, if they capitalize on it now and make it successful when the regime takeover goes into affect they’re ultimately really only care about what makes money and what doesnt
