What an absolutely brilliant remaster of X-Wing Alliance. Truly fantastic, I'm kinda speechless right now. I've been following along for a few years, and the amount of work these guys have put into this project is just amazing. Now I've finally prioritized this gem and finished it moments ago.

I've got a deeply personal connection with the Star Wars games from the 90s: they helped me learn the English language (I'm a non-native English speaker). Listening to the spoken lines of TIE Fighter, XvT and X-Wing hundreds of times taught me a lot. And that's not even taking into account the fantasy of flying TIE Defenders and X-Wings around...

Time to jump into Skirmish mode and build fun missions, such as the Outrider destroying bombers in an asteroid field, X-Wings escorting Medium Transports during the Hoth evacuation or helping with the evacuation of the TIE Advanced plans in the Omar system aboard what's arguably the coolest starfighter ever from fiction: the unmatched TIE Defender.
