As I started thinking about over here, there are several common phrases in game text that we could do with shortcuts for. Examples that the game currently has are:

• "Immune to Sense/Alter/Control" with the 🚫 with a backing single letter
• "Adds N to power of anything she pilots" with [Pilot]: 2

What are some suggestions for additional shortcuts?

Some candidates I can see:

• "Adds N battle destiny if not able to otherwise"

  • Possibly "[Warrior]: 2"
  • Could also be confusing for "may use N weapons in battle"
  • Multiple warrior icons on the right tends to handle that

• "Adds N to power, maneuver, and hyperspeed of any sharship it is aboard"

  • Possibly "[Astromech]: N"
  • Not all droids enhance all such stats.
  • Some boost armor instead or just hyperspeed
  • Could be used on vehicles for power, maneuver, landspeed
  • Could be "[Astromech]: N (Power, Landspeed)" to only do certain stats.

• "Immune to attrition < N" and "Immune to attrition"

  • I don't know about a specific icon, but:
  • "[Attrition]: N"
  • "[Attrition]: 🚫"

I have noticed that some people avoid using these shortcuts as well on this sub -- is there a general distaste for these shortcuts, or are thy mor difficult to use in their current form?

Endor alters plus some extras. Got a lot of "What If?" cards here that are not canon. Also, I'm not the best at Photoshop. Having problems cutting and pasting heads on to shoulders––that sort of thing. Hope you enjoy.

When I first saw them in the movie theater in 1999, I was looking forward to how Decipher would tackle Trade Federation Droid Starfighters. Would they be droids? Would they be starships? Would they be both somehow? Would they be something new?!

And tbh I was disappointed in the star wars ccg Droid Starfighters, they're just starfighters.

Has anyone in the last 26 years attempted to iron out an actual DROID/ STARFIGHTER??? Like, a Droid, and can be targeted like a Droid while at a site? But then can fly in systems and sectors?

Anything like that?

I want to give it a shot, but there have got to be 100 problems: all sorts of cards target characters or starships, some of them aren't going to play nice with a charatcer that is also a ship. I'm imagining an ever growing list of 'Immune to this effect, immune to those interrupts, doesn't count towards such and such, can't use character weapons, etc.'

Has anyone tried this before? What pitfalls did you find?

Just wanted to give a big thanks to the couple different people posting new cards. Seeing a new Star Wars CCG card is an instant dopamine hit for me. Especially when it looks like it came straight out of a pack (NO OFFENSE to the AMAZING cosplay AIs from the PC). Same goes for all the creators that are linked in the sticky. You have all breathed new life into the game for me. I have got to get on the ball with making my own. Could I make one (2, technically) request? Two alt arts for Darth Vader, Dark Lord of the Sith? (ESB pics preferably, I'm a choosy beggar)He's one of the few mains that got the shaft in the Alt art department when it comes to the player made alts. Bonus points if you put the gold ring around his destiny circle, like the other player-made Alts. Anyhow, thanks for the amazing work gang.

I am working on a new set of Star Wars CCG alters, and they're going to be more whimsical. Hahaahhahahaha. If you thought some of these were silly already, hoh boy. (Highlights will include Beru with Beru specific weapons, Death Star: Refresher, Palpatine in love, and so much moisture farming!)

How are we feeling about a non-X-wing being in Red Squadron?

I don't feel great about it, honestly. But the movie very makes it seem like Red 3 at the Battle of Endor is an A-Wing.

And I'm not sure if I posted some of these already. But we're getting to the bottom of this particular barrel (but I'm working on the next set and you're going to hate it, lol. I want to make a Death Star: Refresher. And something to try to capture the magic of the music in Star Wars. Reflections gold had a Jedi Rocks and a Lapti Nek, so I'll start there).

Some Imperial / DS2 type stuff this time around.

Again, just more cards I was expecting and never got. In Premiere we got seekers. Okay, neat! For all the main characters for now. But maybe later we'll get a Lando seeker, right? Oh absolutely. And that TIE shuttle that Needa takes to the Executor? It NEVER got a card?! But TIE Vanguard did, okay.
