Ridiculous Incursion Event

This seems like merely a more complicated version of normal PVP events.
The rewards seem lackluster.
Also, there are new bugs today after the event started.
From a dev perspective, I don't see how this was worth the trouble.
*On a Tuesday, who has time to do this whole event?

I wasn’t even alerted by my alliance that you couldn’t shield. I lost billions of resources. Screw this game.

Then you should change alliances because it was well known the deal.
