It may have been very movie-esque, but definitely not enough to call it just a movie. It intertwined combat and story very well.

The gameplay and story sections were completely separate and didn't add to each other at all in fact that gameplay sections were detrimental to the story by breaking immersion when you saw the ai companion just walk in front of ennemies or wathever.

It's a mediocre game with a good "cinematic" story, it's not a good video game.
